Audience Award "Der Heinrich"
Winner of the 'Heinrich' 2008: Marco Martani
We proudly present this year’s choice of outstanding young European cinema. We anticipate your vote, because it is you, the
AUDIENCE, that will determine the winner of 'THE HEINRICH' award out of these ten films.
Young directors’ first and second films, which have been produced in Europe, participate in the competition offering prize money of
€ 10,000 and a statuette of “The Heinrich“ donated by the Volkswagen Financial Services AG.
This year’s cinematic jewels have their origin in nine different countries: Germany (MENSCH KOTSCHIE); United Kingdom
(THE DAMNED UNITED); The Netherlands (BOLLYWOOD HERO); Estonia (THE WISH TREE); Russia (THE NIGHT OF THE FIGHTER); France (THE FATHER
OF MY CHILDREN), (BE GOOD); Spain/Uruguay (BAD DAY TO GO FISHING); Italy (THE CLOWN); Turkey (WRONG ROSARY).
The awards ceremony takes place on 15th November.
