Surreal view into a macro cosmos: "Planet A" shows ordinary things like rootstocks and rhizome-like fungus making them look like a world on a different planet. The pictures are effectively accompanied with an electronic score.

Hand wheels, finger cacti or biomass as building materials. The surreal realms through which we are travelling consist of photographs of human body parts.

Silicium chips contain the same elements as any pebble on the road side. Any calculation image or sound derived from them is a numeric from reality. We witness the genesis of a digital composition.

Mathieu Labaye pays hommage to his father Benoît, a multiple sclerosis sufferer from the age of 29. An eruptive mix of rhythms, movement and colour.

"Dot: The book as a video" is a music-video for the song "dos" by Michael Fakesch. It shows a sequence of digitally reproduced letterpress prints.

Anna Kalus' movie makes the viewer fall silent: with its beautiful pictures the animated film does not require words itself. It tells a crazy love story.

A man walks through an empty house searching for the exit that does not seem to exist. The inventive music gives the events a very special meaning.

45 years later, the spot where John F. Kennedy was killed in 1963 seems frozen in time. The sound design helps create the film's dense atmosphere.

A giant made of stone tries to break out of his solitude but fails. He comes to realise that the monotony around him is more extensive than expected.


11. Pianoforte

Videoinstallation "Pianoforte" combines 88 piano scenes from films corresponding to 88 keys of a piano. From a newly constructed sequence of these scenes emerges a fresh sound composition.
