Meikel has to leave behind his best friend Björn when he returns from his holidays in the Maldives. Björn has decided not to return to everyday life. Back home, Meikel realizes something has happened during his absence which his family cannot talk about. He becomes curious and does everything to solve the mystery of Björns stay in the Maldives.

Sarah has been murdered a year ago and her mother Anne does not get over the loss. After a suicide attempt her son Simon comes home to look after her. He experiences the complete break-up of the family: the father has an affair. He himself falls in love with Sarahs best friend who carries a secret having directly to do with her death.

Luna lives in Little Paris, a small town with a copy of the Eiffel Tower on the roof of the local factory. She dreams of becoming a dancer. She knows she should go away from her home, from trivial odd jobs and a boring relationship. When the mysterious dancer G appears she falls in love with him and is encouraged to live her dream.

Albert, a single parent, reserved a summer cottage on a small Swedish island to go on holiday with his daughter, Jeanne. The girl didn’t like the idea of spending the summer with her dad and his metal detector seeking traces of the vikings. In addition they have to share the cottage with the owner and her friend. With a lot of humor and charm Anna Novion succeeds in her director debut.
