The "Heinrich" - Audience Award

For the 9th time Braunschweig presents the audience award "The Heinrich" with a prize fund of 10.000 EURO donated by the Volkswagen Bank.

High entry numbers and excellent quality films prove how well-established the competition has become. We have chosen 10 outstanding entries, but it is Braunschweig who decides the winner – before each film voting cards are handed out for the audience's evaluation and the film with the highest average wins. The awards ceremony takes place on the 11th November.

This year our cinematic journey takes us through nine different countries: Poland ("Retrieval"), Italy ("Cover Boy - The Last Revolution"), Macedonia ("Upside Down"), Spain ("Drink up" and "The Contestant"), UK ("Trust me"), Belgium ("What makes you happy"), France ("Family Hero"), The Netherlands ("Blind") and Russia ("Euphoria").
