Steamboat Bill Jr.
Director: Charles F. Reisner, USA 1928, 71 min, 35 mm, bw
Music: Timothy Brock
Actors: Buster Keaton, Ernest Torrence, Marion Byron
William Canfield, known as Steamboat Bill, now has a rival on the Mississippi - crafty J.J. King, the wealthiest man in
town. A brand-new steamboat versus a beaten-up old barge. Bill needs help from his son, whom he has not seen since he was born. The film
contains a spectacular stunt: a house wall falls on Buster, who is standing in the opening made by the window.
The music of the films "One Week" and "Steam Boat Bill Jr." is performed by the Braunschweig State Orchestra conducted by Timothy Brock.
